****IMPORTANT NOTE****

We receive up to 2000 e-mails per week from around the world and that number continues to grow. Many contain messages such as "Urgent! I need your help", "Please respond", or "Please respond in private/Do not publish".

As much as Glenn would love to answer each one individually, it is simply not possible. It takes him an average of 10 minutes to craft an answer to an average question and whittle it down to fit in the column while still making sense. At that rate, he could spend 24 hours a day, seven days a week answering e-mail, and still never get to half of them.

Just like phone messages and snail mail, e-mail is processed by staff. We select one question each week that we believe will be most relevant and helpful to other subscribers. It is then forwarded to Glenn, and answered in the next issue of Work Is Not for Sissies.
